PARNIK is proprietary software. The reservation of rights to the portal does not cover user content or the third-party components, data, marks and services listed below.
1. PARNIK's own rights
Subject to the rights of users and third parties, all rights to the PARNIK name, domains, marks, source and object code, architecture, documentation, database composition, appearance, layout, graphics, styles, original icons, logos, system texts and other own elements belong to PARNIK or have been made available to it on an appropriate basis. The owner's full identification details will be added before the production launch.
The absence of a separate notice does not mean that a licence has been granted. Except where permitted by mandatory law, copying, publishing, reselling, sharing code, decompiling, creating derivative works, scraping the interface or data and using PARNIK's marks require the owner's prior written consent.
2. User material
Users keep the rights to the material they upload. They grant PARNIK only the limited, non-exclusive technical licence described in the Terms: to store, secure, convert the format of and display the material to the recipients chosen by the user. PARNIK does not obtain the right to sell the material or publish it outside the service. Other users do not receive a licence to copy or further distribute the material merely by having access to it.

4. Infrastructure
| Component | Licence or terms | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Node.js 22 | MIT and the component licences listed in the Node.js distribution | Runtime environment |
| PostgreSQL 16 | PostgreSQL License | Persistent database |
| Redis 7.4 | Redis Source Available License 2.0 or Server Side Public License 1.0, depending on the distribution | Cache and coordination |

5. Indirect dependencies
The project's lock file also lists indirect dependencies. The set in use consists mainly of MIT,
Apache-2.0 and ISC licences, as well as BSD-3-Clause and MPL-2.0 (among others lightningcss). The copyright notices and licence texts supplied with each package
remain in force. Code covered by MPL-2.0 remains covered by that licence for the files it
applies to; this reservation does not change the rights granted by open source licences.
The full, versioned list of packages used in a given release is determined by the pnpm-lock.yaml file and the release image manifests. In case of a discrepancy, the licence
text supplied by the author of the specific package prevails.
6. Map data and external services
- OpenStreetMap — data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL); map tiles are also subject to the provider's terms. The portal displays the required attribution next to the map.
- Plus Codes — open source technology made available by Google under the Apache-2.0 licence; queries to the service are subject to the terms of the relevant provider.
- YouTube, Vimeo, RedGIFs and RedTube — external players launched for a link added by a user. The marks, players and material belong to their owners and are subject to their terms. PARNIK grants no licence to them.
- Cloudflare and the VPS and e-mail providers — technical services provided under the relevant agreements and terms, not elements owned by PARNIK.
7. Marks and no affiliation
Third-party names and marks are used solely to identify the component or service in use. Unless expressly stated otherwise, their use does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement of PARNIK by the owner concerned.
8. Legal notices
A report of a missing attribution or a breach of a licence or copyright can be sent through the Support centre. A public e-mail address will be given before the production launch. The report should identify the work, the right, the exact location of the material and contact details.
